Forever Autumn
Painted using oil on board, 'Forever Autumn' also uses newsprint to flatten the perspective. Wally French created
this work during a period in a caravan in North Devon in 2004 and is a rare example of his work using more conventional materials.

Bewitched
Painting on Paperback book.
Bewitched is an example of French's Cartland Series from 2006 to present.
Bewitched take the title from the book whose cover he erases. This creates a strange relationship between
image and object, the painting attempting to be aspiring to be romantic in the way a Barbara Cartland novel appeals to the writers aspirations of fanciful love.
The piece is displayed in a clear acrylic case for wall mounting as opposed to when they are
exhibited, which is directly onto the gallery wall.

(+ postage: £6.50)

decorators bushes, working with the existing dried and stiff brush, a landscape is
applied, usually one or two isolated trees in a green but barren landscape.
Presented in a clear acrylic case.
