| Painting on Paperback book. Bewitched is an example of French's Cartland Series from 2006 to present. Bewitched take the title from the book whose cover he erases. This creates a strange relationship between image and object, the painting attempting to be aspiring to be romantic in the way a Barbara Cartland novel appeals to the writers aspirations of fanciful love. The piece is displayed in a clear acrylic case for wall mounting as opposed to when they are exhibited, which is directly onto the gallery wall. | ||||

| An early (2002) example of Wally French's signature piece, 'the brushscape' From notes, this piece is entitled 'And then we meet' . Paint is applied to discarded decorators bushes, working with the existing dried and stiff brush, a landscape is applied, usually one or two isolated trees in a green but barren landscape. Presented in a clear acrylic case. | ||||
